As a photographer, you rarely find yourself in front of the lens. At the beginning of the COVID Quarantine, I realized that I had almost no photos of myself. Despite my unease of being a camera’s subject, I decided it was time I had some selects of my own to choose from. Thus, I created an in-home studio using some bedsheets for a backdrop and my window for natural lighting, and I got to work. What came out of this spontaneous idea was photos of myself that I liked, photos I joyfully wanted to share. So, thank you Quarantine, for this burst of self-inspiration.
